In this 2-day course, we cover the foundational to intermediate aspects of Excel for data analysis. You’ll learn how to clean, organize, and analyze data using Excel’s powerful features. Our experienced trainers will guide you through a series of practical exercises using real government datasets, ensuring you gain the skills to make data-informed decisions using Excel.

 

 

Syllabus:

  1. Excel Basics for Data Analysis: Overview of Excel features, navigating the interface, and setting up datasets for analysis.
  2. Data Cleaning and Organization: Techniques for cleaning data, handling missing values, and organizing data for analysis.
  3. Data Analysis Tools in Excel: Learning to use Excel’s built-in tools such as PivotTables, charts, and conditional formatting for data analysis.
  4. Introduction to Formulas and Functions: Mastering key Excel formulas and functions relevant to analyzing and summarizing data.
  5. Practical Exercises with Government Datasets: Hands-on application of Excel skills on real government data to practice cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data effectively.
